Hello, traveling elf. You've finally awakened.

It’s no surprise you've been asleep for so long—the nights here are always longer than anywhere else. Welcome to the Isle of Evernight, a cursed land. There is no dawn, no sun—only the moon and the eternal night.

But don't worry. We're used to it. Still, every now and then, I find myself thinking back to the stories I heard as a child. My grandmother used to tell me she had once seen the sun rise. She said that at such times, the sea would look as though it were covered in gold, and the rooftops would be warmed by the sun’s light. It’s a pity I’ve never seen a morning like that.
